gregarious goldfish!

So not only have I been out seeing the sights, I've been making some friends too! As many of you know, I am a social butterfly and so friend-making is definitely a forte. Here's some pictures to prove it!

Here's all the internationals at Victoria Peak:

This was day one of orientation, we took a tour of the campus. From left to right there is: Han Ki (from Seoul), Unknown girl (from Maine), Sam (from Singapore), Kara (our Student Ambassador from HK), myself, and Peter (from California).

Later on Kara invited us out to Mong Kok where she helped us buy cell phones and took us to a mall where kids our age hang out. This is Michael (nicknamed Bambi by one of the Ambassadors) from New Smyrna Beach (heh, small world apparently), checking out his love horoscope. For 1 HKD the statue flashes a color corresponding to one's romantic future. Bambi's flashed purple for "wait and see."

In this same giant shopping mall, there was a sticker shop which is apparently very popular with young Hong Kongers.

We've spent a lot of time in Mong Kok so far. Here's a picture of Mangala (from California), myself, and Vanessa (from Kentucky) on a corner there before we picked up some fish balls from a nearby vendor.
